The curriculum outlined above satisfies most of the first two years’ requirements for majors in biology and chemistry and also provides a convenient entry to other degree programs in the University. This means that prepharmacy students will have built-in lateral mobility if their interests change. It also provides an alternative to premedical students in a profession that is also oriented to health care.
