FDU's innovative Global Study Certificate is a self-guided, for-credit independent study course that college/university students or non-students can complete while traveling and backpacking around the globe.

This certificate program allows students to combine their studies, areas of interest, and career goals with the flexibility of traveling where and when they want. Students design their own personal research projects, analyze information and write while traveling, and even receive guidance from Fairleigh Dickinson faculty mentors through wireless communication and email.
