Freshman Intensive Studies (FIS) Program

The Freshman Intensive Studies program at FDU was created especially for students who have the talent to do well in college, but may not have an academic record that meets the University's criteria for regular admission.

The FIS provides such students with a highly structured and challenging curriculum that focuses on building basic skills. Assistance with more advanced study, personalized academic couseling, tutoring, computer-aided instruction and other support services are also available according to the goals and needs of the individual student.
