Transfer Programs

Our tradition of academic excellence, commitment to serving the adult learner and nontraditional student populations, and flexibility afforded by our multiple campuses and partnerships make Fairleigh Dickinson an ideal transfer option for students of all ages.

Undergraduate

Undergraduate transfer students are generally students who have already either graduated from an an accredited secondary school, or have completed college course work at an accredited institution other than Fairleigh Dickinson University. Transfer applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year for start in any regular University academic session.

Visit our undergraduate Admissions section for more information on the application process, credit transfer details, or to schedule a personal tour at either of our New Jersey campuses.

Graduate

Graduate credits earned at another accredited institution may be accepted in transfer, in accordance with the curricular requirements of the degree program and the academic policies of the colleges. Generally, application for transfer or waiver credit is made through the specific academic school or department in conjunction with the Office of Enrollment Services.

Community College Partnership

FDU's Community College Partnership program enables students to earn a degree from Fairleigh Dickinson while attending on-site classes at one of eight partner schools located throughout the state of New Jersey.

The convenience, flexibility and affordability offered by this program is ideal for adult learners, especially those with family or career responsibilities that might make long commutes or traditional full-time academic experiences more difficult.
