Undergraduate transfer students are generally students who have already either graduated from an an accredited secondary school, or have completed college course work at an accredited institution other than Fairleigh Dickinson University. Transfer applications are accepted on a rolling basis throughout the year for start in any regular University academic session.

Graduate credits earned at another accredited institution may be accepted in transfer, in accordance with the curricular requirements of the degree program and the academic policies of the colleges. Generally, application for transfer or waiver credit is made through the specific academic school or department in conjunction with the Office of Enrollment Services.

FDU's Community College Partnership program enables students to earn a degree from Fairleigh Dickinson while attending on-site classes at one of eight partner schools located throughout the state of New Jersey.
