Bookstore
Locations
Bookstores are located:
Textbooks are organized by course in the West Windsor bookstore. A list of textbooks with prices is posted outside the door at the beginning of each semester. You will need the course name and course reference number to select the correct books. Each shelf tag states the number and titles of required books for the course, any optional books, the prices for new and used books, and the course reference number (if needed).
The bookstore on the James Kerney Campus sells textbooks for courses offered only at that campus.
In addition to books for credit and noncredit courses, the bookstores offer arts supplies, engineering and drafting supplies, reference books, best sellers, greeting cards, sportswear, and more.

Book Return Policy
Additional information can be obtained from the bookstore staff.
Paying by Check
The bookstore will accept your personal check in payment for merchandise if you present your valid student ID Card and another form of identification.
1. Before you reach the cashier, make the check out to "MCCC Bookstore."
2. Write your local address and student ID number on the check.
3. DO NOT FILL IN THE AMOUNT OF THE CHECK until the cashier has recorded all items on the cash register, totaled them, and added any applicable taxes. (You may have an error in your own calculations.)
The West Windsor Campus bookstore also accepts Visa and Mastercard for payment.
Textbook "Buy Back" Policy
"Buy back" usually takes place at the end of each semester, except during the summer when the "buy back" occurs at the end of the last summer session. Please check the bookstore for dates. The bookstore pays up to 50% of the book price, providing the textbook:
A retail list is posted.
Textbooks not being used at MCCC but having a national demand are purchased at the bookstore for a wholesaler at approximately 10 to 40 percent of the NEW book price. These textbooks are shipped to the wholesaler who recycles them to other colleges and universities.
The bookstore does not purchase workbooks, study guides or old editions of textbooks.
You need your class schedule, proof of original textbook purchase, and your student I.D. card to sell textbooks to the MCCC bookstore. Textbooks in your possession must be your own property. Students attempting to sell textbooks reported as "stolen" by another student will be subject to disciplinary action in accordance with MCCC’s student conduct policies.
The "buy back" procedure takes time to complete. Please schedule yourself accordingly.
Library
Libraries are located at both the West Windsor and James Kerney campuses; a small library is available at the Dempster Fire Training Center. An extensive collection of print and nonprint resources are available to the college community for study, research, and enjoyment.
Included are more than 65,000 books in addition to audiovisual resources such as audio and videocassettes, phono, laser, and compact discs. Numerous electronic databases provide access to well over 7,500 journal articles, many in full text, available in the libraries, classrooms, and from home if you request a user password.
Reference staff are available to answer questions, and you can e-mail questions to library staff.
A large, open computer lab is located in the West Windsor library and a smaller lab is available in the James Kerney Campus library. Its primary use is for the completion of class assignments or to access specific information related to classes such as the reserve collection or specialized instructor-assigned websites.
