Becton College Academic Advising Center

The goal of the Becton College Advising Center is to educate and orient incoming freshmen to their curriculum, to apprise students of academic options and advising resources within the College, and to inform students of their responsibilities in understanding degree completion requirements. In addition, the Center is a resource to faculty, staff, and all Becton students regarding academic and advising policies within the College.

Which students are advised in the Center?

  •  Becton College freshmen (all majors) for their first year
  •  Undeclared Becton College students
  •  B.A. in Individualized Studies (BAIS) students

Hours of Operation:

Monday-Thursday 9:00am-6:00pm**

Friday 9:00am-5:00pm

**Evening hours by appointment

Staff in the Advising Center has responsibility for the following sign-offs for Becton College students:

  • Off campus course authorizations
  • Change of Major
  • Semester credit overload (19 + credits)
