In collaboration with the National Guard Bureau (J3 and J7), Fairleigh Dickinson University has developed a fully online Master of Administrative Science Degree with emphasis on areas of homeland security and Certificate programs with concentrations in Global Security and Terrorism Studies, Emergency Management Administration and Computer Security & Forensic Administration to assist Guard personnel in succeeding in their increased responsibilities of homeland security and defense, both nationally and internationally.

These degree and certificate programs, taught by security and emergency management professionals, provide the most up-to-date technical and theoretical training available. The Emergency Management Administration certificate will enable Guard personnel to work seamlessly with first responders within domestic deployments while providing a comprehensive understanding of emergency management procedures. The Global Security and Terrorism Studies certificate provides Guard personnel with a broad understanding of terrorist groups and the methods they employ along with in-depth training in how to prevent and respond to terrorist acts. Computer Security & Forensic Administration certificate provides training to Guard personnel in the investigation, case development and protocols relating to computer crimes. Each course has direct relevance and practical application of all information being covered.
