Dr David Rosen, professor of Anthropology is leading a conversation on Afghanistan: Cultural Geography of Conflict on November 12, 2009 in the Orangerie at the College at Florham Library.

A panel of scholars from the Tibetology Research Center in Beijing are visiting FDU for a lecture on Thursday, October 29, 2009.

Fairleigh Dickinson University was among the UN/DPI (Department of Public Information) accredited NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) from around the world that attended the annual UN/DPI conference held in Mexico City from September 9 to September 11, 2009.

FAF has a focus on maximizing impact and reducing economies of scale with the development of a series of media and funding plans while the foundation also acts as a fiscal representative to organizations in need of very cost efficient, transparent, professional project management

The ISA and MECA are presenting an interactive session with Sayed Ibrahimi, a sophomore international student from Afghanistan. He will share his experience as a young adult amidst the turmoil of war and everyday life.

The MOU will develop educational opportunities for FDU students, identify and provide technical expertise for the African Union, and jointly explore ventures to support and advance higher education on the African continent.

The Office of Global Learning offers assistance to students through volunteer service and short-term internship opportunities at the United Nations.

The Geneva component of the Conference of Non – Governmental Organizations (CoNGO) in Consultative Relationship with the United Nations was held in Geneva, Switzerland from July 2 – 4, 2009. A delegation of five members from the School of Nursing and Allied Health represented FDU at the event.

FDU students have initiated a worldwide movement to spread thoughts on peace, in the event of celebrating International Peace Day on September 21, 2010.

On Thursday 12th March, 2009, The Association of International Educators presented the Senator Paul Simon Spotlight Award to Fairleigh Dickinson University for use of technology for faculty development and curriculum internationalization.
