Requirements

The Bachelor of Arts in Individualized Studies (BAIS) is designed exclusively for adult learners. As an adult learner, you may apply for admission to the University based on a high school diploma or the equivalent. If you have previously attended an accredited college or university, you are considered a transfer student and should submit official transcripts for evaluation. Adult applicants are not required to submit SAT or ACT scores.

Procedure

The BAIS program has a rolling admission policy thereby allowing students to enter the program at the start of any trimester:  Fall (September), Winter (January), Spring (April) or Summer (July). To be admitted:

  1. Fill out an adult application for admission or, if you have previously attended FDU, fill out the simpler re-admission form.
  2. Fax it to 201-692-7359 or mail it to the address below. 
  3. Request official transcripts be sent from all previously attended institutions to:
