The Department of Public Safety, Fairleigh Dickinson University College at Florham, is in operation 24 hours a day, 365 days per year and is comprised of motivated, trained and caring personnel.  All are dedicated and committed to the protection of the lives, safety and welfare of students, faculty, staff and visitors to the University.

Mission Statement

The Department of Public Safety, through the combined efforts of all within this department, will strive to enhance and perfect the skills, knowledge and training necessary in providing effective and efficient proactive approaches.  We will continue training, implementing awareness programs, coordinating with local, state and federal law enforcement authorities when necessary and act as a liaison between the University community and criminal justice agencies regarding incidents pertaining to the University.
