Leda Cosmides is Professor of Psychology at the University of California and a founder of the new field of evolutionary psychology. Cosmides won the 1988 American Association for the Advancement of Science Prize for Behavioral Science Research, the 1993 American Psychological Association Distinguished Scientific Award for an Early Career Contribution to Psychology, and a J. S. Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship.
Christine Funk is the Assistant State Public Defender for the State of Minnesota where she specializes in forensic DNA testing and analysis. An experienced criminal defense attorney, she is a member of the Advisory Board of the Innocence Project of Minnesota.
Daniel E. Houser is Associate Professor in the Interdisciplinary Center for Economic Science (ICES), George Mason University. Together with Nobel laureate Vernon Smith and other researchers at ICES, Houser is a pioneer in experimental economics. Houser has been awarded dozens of grants and fellowships, including participation in four NSF grants.
Lawrence Kobilinsky is Science Advisor to the President of John Jay College of Criminal Justice, where he is also Professor of Biology and Immunology. He is one of the nation’s most prominent forensic scientists. He has served as a consultant to CBS News, where he commented on the O.J. Simpson trial. He has many professional awards, grants, and publications.
Robert O. Kurzban is Assistant Professor of Psychology, University of Pennsylvania. A leader in evolutionary psychology, Professor Kurzban’s work has been reported on in the popular press, including two separate stories in The Economist.
Paul Rubin is Samuel Candler Dobbs Professor of Economics and Law, Emory University. He is a leading figure in the field of law and economics and in the application of evolutionary psychology to economics and politics. His many government appointments include Senior Staff Economist in President Reagan's Council of Economic Advisers. His scholarly work has been cited in the professional literature over 1400 times.
John Vanderkolk is Fort Wayne Regional Laboratory Manager, Indiana State Police. Officer Vanderkolk is a practicing forensic scientist and laboratory manager who has extensive experience in law enforcement and forensic science. He has many articles in journals such as the Journal of Forensic Identification.
