Past Events

Becker CPA Review Lecture on Federal Taxation by John Dispenzierie on February 1, 2007

The Accounting Society organized a lecture on Federal Taxation by Becker CPA Review Professor John Dispenzerie. John spoke at length on the filing process for Federal Tax returns, the basics of computing taxable income for individual tax payers; and provided valuable insights into the CPA profession. JoAnn Veiga, the Regional Marketing Manager for Becker CPA Review, briefed students on the role of Becker CPA Review classes in preparing accounting students to pass the CPA examination. The event was a great success because of the informal atmosphere and a good turnout of students, who enjoyed taxes along with pizza and sodas! One of the students also won a raffle for the Becker CPA Tutorials!
