Becton College offers majors in French Language & Literature and Spanish Language & Literature, and discipline minors in French, Italian, Spanish, and in Arabic Studies and Japanese Studies (18 credits).

Opportunities for study abroad are offered by the department. Some courses have a study abroad component, while others meet entirely outside of the United States.

ITAL 1001 --Beginning Italian I 
ITAL 1002 --Beginning Italian II
ITAL 2003 --Intermediate Italian Conversation
ITAL 3056 --Italy, Land of Migrations (a film and culture course about immigrants both from Italy to the Americas and to Northern Europe, and from Africa, Eastern Europe, and South East Asia to Italy. Taught in English)
