The mission of this department is to create in its students an awareness and understanding of the complexity and intrigue that comprise human behavior and mental processes. We provide an education in these fields that covers the major concepts, theories, and ideas which explain, through human and animal research, how and why people function. Our mission is to provide students with both theoretical knowledge and its practical application in their professional and personal lives.
