College at Florham Freshmen Parking 2013-2014

Incoming College at Florham freshmen students, residing on campus, will have the ability to apply for a parking permit. Approved freshmen students will be allowed to park in a designated area in residence parking lot #3, located in the rear of Park Avenue residence hall nearest to Wyndham Hotel and Conference Center. Approved students will be able to pick up their decals after May 31st, 2014 and through the summer at Public Safety Heaquarters located at The Barn.  If students need directions to The Barn, please contact 973-443-8888 and a Public Safety Officer will be happy assist you.

 

$200 Fee

  • The fee for freshmen student parking is $200 per semester.
  • The fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
  • The fee may be paid by check or money order, payable to FDU, or may be applied to your student account and added to your tuition bill.

Eligibility and Application Process

  • All registered full-time freshmen, residing in on-campus housing, are eligible to apply.
  • Applications will be accepted and reviewed during the months of July-August 2014.
  • Since there are only limited numbers of parking spaces reserved for freshmen students, parking permits will be issued on a first come, first served basis; if student is not assigned a space any money paid for the space will be refunded.
  • Freshmen students with documented medical needs, as directed by the Wellness Center, will be given first preference.

Terms and Conditions

Students found in violation of University and New Jersey State liquor and drug regulations/laws, or parking rules and regulations, will have their parking privilege revoked; fee will not be refunded. Also, students MUST park in lot 3 blue spaces at all times.  If a freshmen student is parked anywhere else on campus, run the risk of a ticket that cannot be appealed. For Fall of 2014, all decals will expire on December 31st.
