The Computer Graphic Arts major prepares students to work in a wide variety of media choices. This course of study combines classes from a wide variety of multimedia areas within the department: Computer graphic design, desktop publishing, web design, Flash animation, computer animation, 3D modeling, and studio arts. These options better prepare students for careers in advertising, publishing and marketing. Students work in such programs as Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects and 3D Studio Max.
Many of our students cross over between animation and computer design. The disciplines are closely aligned and make use of similar creative demands. Students can co-major or minor in one or more areas.
