Dr. Yoo Jung An

Dr. Yoo Jung An received Ph.D. and M.S. in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) in January 2008 and 2004, respectively. During her graduate study years, she received UPS Foundation PhD Fellowship for Academic Excellence. She also holds M.S. in Consumer Science from Dongguk University in 1995 and B.S. in Education from Kookmin University in 1993 respectively. Professional certificates she holds include certificates of Oracle Certified Professional (2000), Sun Certified Java Programmer (2000), and Teacher Certificate Issued by Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development of Korea. She is currently a research associate of Semantic Web and Ontologies group in NJIT.

Her professional activities includes organizing the first ever workshop on Semantic Web meets the Deep Web as a chair at the IEEE Joint Conference on E-Commerce Technology and Enterprise Computing, E-Commerce and E-Services 2008. She is a member of the IEEE Computer Society, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association and Alpha Epsilon Lambda Honor Society.

Her research interests include Semantic Web, Deep Web, Information Retrieval, Data Warehouses, Databases and Artificial Intelligence.


Manwon (John) Chun, CPA

In addition to specializing in serving the creative and performing arts industry, Mr. Manwon Chun’s expertise also extends to publishing, import and export, financing and leasing, and exempt organizations.

Mr. Chun was formerly a Principal in the Deloitte & Touche Creative and Performing Arts Entertainment Group and a partner with the leading theatrical firm of Pinto, Winokur & Pagano.

Mr. Chun is a member of the New York State Society of CPAs and New Jersey Society of CPAs as well as the American Institute of CPAs.

He has a B.C. in commerce from Konkuk University in Seoul, Korea, studied at the Finance School of the U.S. Army in Indianapolis and graduated magna cum laude from Fairleigh Dickinson University with an M.B.A. in Economics and Finance.


Eun Jeong Lee

EunJeong Lee is an instructor in Korean Studies Program, MiraeRo. She earned her B.A. degree in Political Science from SUNY Binghamton. She remained highly active on campus while in school, also taking on various leadership positions such as Resident Assistant, VP of Korean Traditional Percussion Team, Editor-in-chief of BUKUSA, Event Coordinator, etc. She worked as an intern at Democratic Headquarter in Binghamton County, gaining hands-on experience in politics. She is currently working as a legal assistant in Law Office of Kang C Lee PC in Manhattan base as well as serving as an English instructor at IVY Center Inc.


James H. Lee, Esq.

James H. Lee is Senior New York Counsel & Manager of the Proactive Department for Madison Title Agency LLC. As part of his daily responsibilities, he clears complex commercial title issues, oversees underwriting activities and manages large, high-profile commercial transactions in New York.

Mr. Lee was formerly with LandAmerica Financial Group, Inc., where he was a claims attorney, specializing in complex title claims and related legal work. Mr. Lee began his legal career at Wingate & Cullen in Melville, New York, where he performed extensive legal research, assisted in litigation, drafted legal documents and represented lenders in commercial and residential real estate closings.

Admitted to the Bar in both New York and New Jersey, Mr. Lee is a graduate of the Rutgers School of Law at Newark and of Baruch College. Mr. Lee is also licensed as a title producer in the state of New Jersey and has served as a presiding Commissioner of Ocean County Condemnation Commission.


Janice Lee

Dr. Janice Lee earned her B.S. in Physiology from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec and her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College (Phi Chi Omega). She practices in Englewood Cliffs, NJ in a multi-disciplinary medical practice. She has been an adjunct faculty member teaching Anatomy and Physiology and Biology at colleges in Manhattan and New Jersey.


Jason Kim

Jason Kim, a Councilman (D) of Palisades Park, New Jersey, is the first Korean-American elected as a councilman on the East Coast of the United States. Prior to his election to Council in November 2004, Jason served on the Palisades Park Board of Education for eight years, during which time he was the first Korean-American to be elected as Board President.

Councilman Kim was born in Seoul, Korea, and came to the United States in 1975. Jason received his Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from Queens College of City University of New York and further studied Computing and Education at Teachers College of Columbia University, New York. For the past twenty years, he has worked with young people to encourage them in civic engagement. Jason has also been an active advocate of the Korean-American community's involvement in political processes, working to bridge gaps between the Korean-American community and other communities, as well as gaps between younger generation and first generation Korean-Americans. He is the founder and President of the Korean-American Voters Association of New Jersey (KAVA), which was established in 1992 to promote active political involvement of Korean-Americans.

Jason has also served on numerous committees, including the Bergen County Workforce Investment Board, the Bergen County Task Force on Youth Violence, the Bergen County Human Services Advisory Council, and the Bergen County Korean-American Democratic Club.

In addition to his public service, Jason has been a lecturer at the Bronx Community College for the past twenty years. He is the president of Jason Kim Academy, a private education center that provides college preparatory classes for elementary and high school students.

Jason is married to Arianna Kim, Ph.D., a research scientist at Columbia University, New York, and together, they have three young children, Audrey, Bryan, and Christopher.


Jeong Jin Park

JeongJin Park is the Director of Associate of Arts in Korean Studies Program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is responsible for providing strategic direction and leadership in all aspects of launch and growth for the new Associate’s of Arts degree. He is also responsible for overall monitoring of the Korean Studies Program and maintaining high standards of delivery.

As the Director of the Korean Studies Program at FDU, Mr. Park monitors the student enrollment process and also facilitates several recruiting events.

Prior to this position, Mr. Park, as a Research Intern assisted in the Online Master of Administrative Science degree program at the School of Administrative Science and other administrative offices at FDU. Mr. Park also worked as a Research Intern at Institute of Far Eastern Studies, Seoul, Korea.

Mr. Park earned his Master of Public Administration degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to that, he attended Korea University, Seoul, Korea earning his Bachelors of Arts degree in Linguistics.


Hyun Suk Ryu

Hyun Suk Ryu is a adjunct professor at Fairleigh Dickinson University instructing Course Cultural Arts in the MiraeRo Program. She earned her Master of Fine Arts Degree in Painting from Pratt Institute in New York and her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Wesleyan College in Georgia. Her paintings and sculptural works consist of continuous exhibitions mostly, in New York and New Jersey.


Joseph P. Thomas

Joseph Thomas is the Director of Web, Instructional Technology and Online Learning for Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies at Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is responsible for the coordination and technical aspects of the On-Line Master of Administrative Science program. As a Co-Chair for MAS Online Standards Committee, he is responsible for overall monitoring of the online degree and maintaining high standards of delivery.

Mr. Thomas also coordinates the MAS degree for specific groups like the National Guard and First Responders. The U.S. Department of Defense provided grants for these programs totaling $2 million.

Mr. Thomas is an adjunct instructor at FDU teaching graduate and undergraduate courses in the field of Information Systems and Computing. As an adjunct faculty member with the State of New Jersey Human Resource Development Institute’s Certified Public Manager Program conducted by FDU’s School of Administrative Science he has taught classes in MIS.

Mr. Thomas assists in training Full-time and Part-time faculty members with program design and online delivery. He also works in cooperation with the University Webmaster on web-related issues concerning Petrocelli College.

Prior to his current position, Mr. Thomas worked for Dell Computer Corporation in their Home and Small Business segment in Bangalore, India. He earned his Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Prior to that, he attended R.V. College of Engineering, Bangalore University earning his Bachelors degree in Engineering, India.
