RWJF/New Careers in Nursing Scholarship Program

In 2008, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) joined with the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) to create the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation New Careers in Nursing Scholarship program to help alleviate the nursing shortage and increase diversity in the nursing workforce.  Through a grant to FDU, the NCIN program will provide scholarships to college graduates with degrees in other fields who wish to transition into nursing through an accelerated baccalaureate program. The program will provide 10 scholarships of $10,000 each to students who qualify for the award.
