Part of the Silberman College of Business since 1989, the mission of the Rothman Institute is to teach and support entrepreneurship and innovation in the academic, business and nonprofit communities. An outstanding entrepreneurship curriculum taught by an excellent faculty has helped make the academic program among the top 20 in the nation. In addition, our innovative outreach programs help people succeed in their new or growing ventures as well as in their corporations or organizations.

> On September 17, NYER honored James Barrood and the Institute with the the annual Small Business Advocate Award. Barrood was also interviewed on the popular MSNBC show, 'Your Business,' on Jan. 4, April 26 and August 23, and on My9's Real Talk show on Jan. 23 and June 7.
